HH interview and tests

HI
I have 3 interviews lined up for HH they are all peds positions. All said they have a test they give, what should I review? I am not great at math and tests make me very nervous. I ended up with all NCLEX questions when I took it last year.
Also is there any books or anything I can prepare if I take a part time HH peds position? This would be my first HH job, Bayada said they have a 3day peds training program.
Any advise would be helpful.
Thanks

Hi-
Did you get the position with Bayada? I am also in Chester County and have an interview with them this week. I am uncomfortable about the test and was wondering how you made out with it and what I should concentrate on.

Yes I have been working with them for a few weeks. But only once in awhile. They seem nice so far but need to find jobs that fit my schedule. Good Luck

Thanks for responding. What should I concentrate on for the Pediatric test portion of the interview? Was there also med calculations?
Thanks!

No nights for me! I'm interviewing with them, but they have no day shifts available. At least I will have all the other preliminary paperwork done. I work with another agency and my long term case(5 years) has ended and they are working on some things for me.

What are you referring to in "the red book"? Book on infectious diseases?

Thanks

When you take the class (if you do not have peds exp) they will give you a BIG Red notebook with chapters and at the end of each chapter there is a quiz. Study the quizzes. I am not sure how many day spots they have. Good luck.

Now it makes sense! I do have 15 years of Peds experience...that explains why I am taking the test without "the big red notebook" to study. Thanks so much for your help. I'll send a quick note to let you know how I did.
