Has anyone worked for Advantage Home Health/Peds?

by JLMIL72

I have been offerred a job through this company and I really want to get some info from others who have worked for the company.

This is going to be my first position after obtaining my RN. They want me to start possibly this Saturday and initially they weren't planning on doing any orientation at all, but I said I would need at least one day of orientation for each client that I work with to feel comfortable. Heck I am new to this.

I would really appreciate any info from anyone who has worked for Advantage or knows anyone who does. I will be working near Alton, Illinois.

Thanks for any help

Judi

I would be leery of a company that was not going to give you any orientation........

I see that you will probably have a less than easy path with these people. Continue to speak up for yourself and demand an orientation. If they want to keep you as an employee they will properly orient you. Accept nothing less. And don't be afraid to ask questions. Sure you can look things up on your own, but it is sometimes more efficient to get necessary info from your supervisor. Good luck on this new job.
