E-mail pals!

Hello fellow homecare nurses. Looking for some penpals to chat with.
I'm 31 and care for high-tech babies.
I'm engaged to be married, but we do not have any children.
I love homecare and would like to trade stories with other homecare nurses or hospital pediatric nurses!

Piggy Bank Luv Peds Home Care
I've been a Pediatric Nurse for over 24 years and a Pediatric Home Care Nurse for over 10 years and I absolutely love it. I currently take care of mostly Oncology children. These kids give me more inspiration than any motivational expert could dream up. For the most part, they're smart, strong willed, and very stubborn. There's not a day that goes by that I don't cry and laugh with a child. Their hugs are genuine.
I wouldn't trade my job for anything right now. And that's coming from someone who almost gave up entirely on nursing.

I welcome any Peds Home Care Nurse.. We all still have a lot to learn : flapeds@netscape.net

Hi All!
I'm a Home Care Case Manager, and would also love to hear from others in this situation! I LOVE this, and wouldn't want to do anything else, after having been in Critical Care for many years and Hospice, which I also love! I'm 39, married and have one 16 yr.old daughter!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

HI nurse angel, I don't do peds, but I am also 39 and have 2 teens. I do strictly adult home care. I have been interested in hospice though. Only thing that keeps me from doing hospice is call! No, I do not want to crawl out of my warm bed in the middle of the night!

Welcome and post often
