Does your agency use an OASIS specialist?

There are many changes coming up-per the last med PAC report-and considering upcoming cutbacks-some agencies have started sending out an admit RN who asses and scores the patients ADLs, and then gets on the phone with the office OASIS guru who is then responsible for entering the OASIS that the admit RN signs off on. Does your agency use one of these?Have they reduced the Fee for Service rate/reimbursement for a SOC due to this?Do the Case Managers still take the same case load?Does it make your orientation for RNs shorter?Are these new RNs happier with their work?
