case mix diagnosis

  1. Does anyone have a list of the case mix diagnosis for home care?I know the three main are ortho, diabetes and neuro but I would like to see the classifications in each. With the use of the new V codes our agency is struggling to fill out the OASIS correctly. I have searched the government sites on the web but can't come up with an answer. Can anyone help?

Try going to your intermediary. Easier to find on their site. If you cannot find it there let me know and I will surf it and pinpoint it.

final report of the 3m national oasis integrity project
the 3m national oasis integrity project, sponsored by nahc, the 3m corporation, and fazzi associates, was designed to help clinicians generate more accurate and consistent responses to the extensive list of outcome and assessment information set (oasis)questions.

Saves the day! The Fazzi information I passed out to our nurses a few weeks ago. Great blow by blow, tag by tag definition.
