Myst - I agree with you & Joyce ~ there is plenty out there that will help the person center themselves and look within. Available now are Meditation, Guided imagery, Healing Touch, Taichi, Qigong, Reiki etc. also Auromotherapy to assist in setting the tone etc.. for beginners, Guided imagery is probably the best.

Does anyone have a link for a spiritual assessment tool?

I am a fourth year baccalaureate nursing student and in the midst of my final seminar course prior to graduating in May.

I am facilitating a presentation relating to Spirituality as the neglected facet of holistic care. I am wanting to access a tool for spiritual assessment to present to my colleagues, yet have had no luck in finding one anywhere in nursing journals or on the web.

If anyone could help me out...I would greatly appreciate it!

I have a book that have a "Spiritual assessment tool" in it.
The name of the book is Holistic Nursing A handbook for practice second ed printed in 1995.

This looks like a very useful tool and might be the type of thing you are looking for.
