PDR

Have you heard about a new PDR with herbs in it that is coming out? Wonder who was consulted for input? Looking forward to seeing it. Linda

I have heard of this...I think it is published independently of the drug companies who publish the medicinal version. Maybe someone else knows more...or we could check Amazon.com to see what they have listed.

Is this book available in the bookstores yet? It sounds like just the kind of thing I've been looking for.

I'm anxious to get my hands on the Herbal PDR also. I'm interested in info regarding peri-menopause and endometriosis. I would be interested in any references anyone has.

try a google search with the key words: pdr online.

I found several by putting in those key words or you can try others.

I hope this helps you.

I've had one for a few years but don't know when they first came out. Unfortunately, I can't give you the exact title as all my belongings are sitting in port slowly taking six months to get to me due to the bungling of moving companies.

There is a 'Homeopathic Pharmacopia of the United States', (HPUS) but it costs about $900.00

I know I have seen PDR's at Sam's Club; I am pretty sure they were under $100.00.

The last question was regarding online PDR reference and I did see a few "free ones" to query.

My choice, is the Nurses Drug Book; Nurse oriented and user friendly.

Has anyone thought about looking into Frances Densmore? He has writen several books on Native American Herb Lore. You can order them at Barnes and Noble. The books cost any where from $10's to $25's.
