Hi Frann,
I have massages every two weeks, from an accredited massage therapist who is a prominent member of his organisation. He leaves the room before I get changed, I am draped except for the area of my body that he's working on, and he has never touched my breasts of abdomen.

Until a couple of years ago he was president of his association, and has testified for the prosecution in cases where 'therapists' like yours have been tried. Some of these 'therapists' tell their clients that both the client and the practitioner must be naked, to 'diminsh our boundaries.' One of them did 'internal massage' to relieve back pain. In all the cases clients felt uncomfortable but were reluctant, for a variety of reasons, to report the 'therapist'.

here are my concerns with what you wrote:
1) you felt uncomfortable
2) there's advanced warning that you might feel uncomfortable, with an implication that this is something you should ignore
3) he caressed your breasts
4) he watched you get dressed
5) he told you not to tell your husband
6) he charged you a reduced rate
7) he refunded your money without protest

What you describe is sexual assault. You didn't invite it, and you didn't consent to it, regardless of what his brochure described. Call the police, anonymously if you wish. You won't have been the first woman he's assaulted like this, and you certainly won't be the last unless he's stopped.

Good luck

Every one is right you have been sexually molested under the guise of "therapy". My only suggestion is that you might get better results by telling your husband and letting him get a few friends together to pay this bozoo a visit. This guy is just a quack, a medical fraud. He is offering no valid therapies at all.
private wellness sessions:
assessment of the wholebody, mind, and soul, followed by energy balancing and guidance for a personalized wellness program. depending on personal needs, a combination of the following healing techniques are applied:
reiki, QiGong, internal exercises, guided imagery, reflexology of the feet, ear and hands, Tui Na treatment, spiritual healing, meditation, modern stretching and natural breathing exercises.
With the exception of guided imagery, (a psychological technique), meditation, stretching, there is not one scientificly verified "therapy" in the whole list! It's just a collection of new age "buzz words". You put yourself in the hands of the medical equivalent of a witch doctor. No, that slanders honest witch doctors.

Yes, let's just beat him up and then string him up. Get a rope!

Perhaps you should get out and read more to really see what's going on.

I have had several massages, all by women, and I've never had more than one body part exposed at a time. The practioner would always ask me, "do you want your abdomen massaged?" to which I would reply, "no" because I'm ticklish. I've NEVER had my breasts massaged, or even exposed.

I've had Reiki--it's not meant to make you uncomfortable. It's mainly hands-off, too.

The purpose of using massage and Reiki is to make you relaxed and comfortable, to allow healing to occur--NEVER uncomfortable. He even tells you up front you will feel uncomfortable???

Agreed, this kind of thing puts all massage therapists and Reiki practictioners in a bad light. This is not the norm.
