by BookWorming Jun 11, '12Hi, I have just been accepted into the AND program at Lee College and I have scheduled my HESI for the 20th of June. I was wondering if anyone has taken it and what I should focus my studying around. Also, do they supply a calculator for math? I am trying my best to stay calm, but you know how it is. Any tips?

It's basic math, but make sure you know conversions (lbs to oz, oz to cups, etc) and I don't remember is you can use a calculator. The only part I had a hard time with was the vocabulary. Also, is the test taken in the Testing Center?Hi, I have just been accepted into the AND program at Lee College and I have scheduled my HESI for the 20th of June. - Jun 14, '12 by BookWormingThank you so much for responding. The test is taken in the writing center. When you say A&P, are we talking location on the body or the cells, nerves, hormones, etc. I have been studying the hard stuff of A&P like crazy, you know chemistry, vocabulary and hormones. Location for me is no problem. Math is crammed in there pretty good too. What type of vocabulary, like medical terminology? I'm nervous but I am trying to stay calm.
- Jun 14, '12 by kmic09I don't remember exactly what was on it, I just remember that the questions didn't go into too much detail. I believe there were some questions about some hormones, the directional terms, parts of the bone, mainly anatomy and not too much physiology. The vocabulary was mainly medical terminology. I believe that the test doesn't count against you so I wouldn't worry too much.

I'm sure you will do okay.I don't remember exactly what was on it, I just remember that the questions didn't go into too much detail.
