    Hi nurses! :heartbeat

    Not sure if Im posting in the right thread but I have noticed since I started nursing, by the end of an 8 hour shift I have really swollen ankles and feet, like reallllly swollen. I have quite bad circulation (even though Im young) and always have cold feet and hands and worried about the longterm effects of this swelling (varicose veins?).

    Any recommendations from other lovely nurses out there with the same problem? Shoes? Compression Stockings? Cold packs?
