Staffing... again

Working in LTC I am forced into unsafe staffing. I am fortunately leaving this job and working in another, less unsafe environment. However, I feel bad for the nurses who are left. They abuse the RNs where I work and force them to take on unsafe assignments with 50+ patients and do IVs on patients on other floors and run IV meds on patients we won't have time to assess or reassess or any of that. What can I do? Is there some way to file a complaint? Any advice appreciated. I just worry about safety here.
