Blue, I hate moving but it's good that you were able to get of some stuff. Funny how stuff accumulates isn't it?

I'm enjoying the mountains so far, but don't feel very rested. I always have trouble sleeping away from home. Plus tired from the driving. But I have four more days here to chill out and will enjoy that. I'm going to try to stick to eating healthy, and perhaps taking a walk or two for exercise. Will try to do some meditation as well.

    Woot!

I actually went back to bed after the above post and despite having just consumed coffee slept another 1.5 hours and feel very rested now. Usually it takes a few days for me to start sleeping well and getting rest.

{{{{{{{{{Tweety}}}}}}}} I hope you continue to enjoy the break! and come back refreshed! (I hear people say often that they need to come back and take a vacation from their vacation!)

Actually (and I'm not Tweety, LOL) I think vacations are great. It's unloading the car and facing the huge pile of laundry I really don't appreciate...and good mother that I am, I won't even mention how crabby my children can get when faced with "real life" the next morning . Of course, I'm always cheerful as the day is long .

Ummm, when you put that wink icon you weren't possibly implying I might NOT be cheerful, were you?

Zoe this is definately not one of those vacations that I'm going to need a vacation from. I've been eating mostly healthy vegetarian food since I've been here and am relaxing a lot. Today's my last day in the mountains before heading off to Savannah for one day and then back home, afterwhich I still have a week off. Woot!

    Woot!

I did a 40 minute power wallk up and down the hills yesterday. That felt good (especially coming down....LOL).

I eat at a vegetarian restaurant last night and ate and ate and ate. It was good food, but I'm still having trouble with portion control when I eat out. I have to clean my plate and never bring food home.

    Glad you are enjoying yourself!

As to vegetarian food - I have had hypoglycemia for years, so one time, for a 4-day retreat, I was worried, because it was vegetarian fare.

Come to find out you WON'T DIE without meat. Was an eye-opener for me, chuckle...

I was on the road for the last couple of days and didn't eat well and ate...gasp....meat.

I eat primarily vegetarian, but can't call my self vegetarian.

{{{{{{{{Tweety}}}}}}}}} How long had it been?

I have been back on my healthy eating for the last 3 (I think it is) days - funny tho how the hand automatically reaches out LOL - friend held out a candy bar and I reached for it, unwrapped it, then dropped it like a hot potato! I had actually forgotten!
