    Boy can I relate. I lost over 140 lbs and am in the healthy range.......BUT my fat percent is far from it! I probably need to go to 100 lbs before it hits normal :uhoh21:

    Hello to all the newcomers! I haven't posted in a week. Been busy helping dd to move and resettle in her new place. Things are just beginning to wind down where we can return to some sense of normalcy...thank God! :wink2:

    Missed my last two workout sessions due to the big move and all, but will be returning to my workout this week. I miss my time at the gym, too. Nothing like being high on endorphins!

    Has anyone heard of "SaladMaster Cookware"? DD had a demonstration in her home this afternoon, and the food was out of this world! We are both sold on the nutritious cooking and taste of the food prepared in this cookware. I'm looking into being a dealer myself...that's how impressed I am with it. It's all stainless steel cookware, waterless cooking, no oil needed, and did I say how great the food tasted!

    DD bought a set, but it won't be delivered for another week. Once it comes, out will go her scratched up Teflon (which I hear is poison to use today...read articles on the web about that just now). I'm not really into cooking, but I'm excited about learning to cook with this cookware. A cookbook comes with it, too. I will have new toys to play with in the kitchen soon. Maybe dd will want to start cooking now, too. One can hope anyway.

    There are a lot of skinnyfat people. By that I mean to look at them they are thin, but if you measured their body fat their percentages are high because they are out of shape.

    i know exactly what you mean. i'm ending two weeks of dieting and eating healthy today and i don't think i've strung that many days together without an eating binge or junk food in a long, long time.

    the key for both of us is making it a lifetime habit, one day at a time.

    Hi babies!

    I hate to think of you biting your nails when I don't come by very often (I am so important you know, LOL!) - just want to say things are evening out, food is really going well, moving my body much more in gentle but consistent ways! amazing how, when challenged by illness and such , you are sometimes catapulted into really GOOD self care, treating yourself like a VIP patient ha ha!

    so - ego is in check LOL - love you guys, thanks for all you post and it gives me strength and a true example to follow! xoxoxo

    Back from the gym. I weighed in and lost 2 more pounds. My goal is a slow steady weight loss. I'm five pounds to my goal weight. Woot!

    Congrats! Doesn't it suck how it is sooooo easy to gain 2 pounds but soooooo hard to take it off!

    My diet started today. Started the day with oatmeal with a little bit of walnuts. Will eat an apple with a little bit of peanut butter before going out to run erronds. After I finish this post I am off to do some exercise.

    Here is my plan. This week I will start out by doing the bowflex to stretch and then next week I will add in the treadmill. The week after that I will add in the eliptical. Every week after that I will just intensify each thing. Hopefully by starting out slow I will not burn out.

    As for food, I am not really going to follow a structured program. I am just going to use common sense and cook healthy. I do much better eating five small meals a day so I will do that. i just have to make sure they are healthy meals.

    I have decided not to weigh myself until I have been doing all of this for 4 weeks. I always loose a lot of weight the first few weeks if I behave so it disappoints me when I go down to the normal 2 - 3 lbs a week so I decided to skip the viewing of the fast weight loss so that all I will actually SEE is the normal weight loss.

    RN in 3, that sounds like a great plan! I should really start incorporating some exercise routine into mine - but I think I would prefer Chinese water torture to exercising. Don't know what my problem is there - I have to get out of that mindset, I'm just not sure how.

    Well, I was not very good last week, so I was shocked when I weighed myself and had actually lost a few more pounds. I'm beginning to think my scale is broken. Hmm.

    Anyway - sorry I can't respond to everybody - as usual am busy like mad - but here's wishing a healthful day to everybody - mind and body.
