2nd shifters, small children... Family balance/stress

What do you think of the schedule? What tips do you have for balancing work and family? I'm starting my CNA course on Feb. 10th and looking at 2nd shift positions after I graduate (and continuing my education through to my RN) I'm absolutely excited and thrilled to death about my new career training- this is the one thing that has me kind of nervous... Thought I'd ask and see how you all make it work Thanks!
