  1. What was your TEAS score for KCC?

Hi All,

I am curious as to what a competitive applicant has for an ATI TEAS score, GPA, prereqs. I understand the minimum TEAS was 78, but it has been temporarily lowered to 65.

Obviously, the higher the scores the better, but what does an average accepted applicant's scores look like?

What is a solid TEAS score for acceptance, do I have to score in the 90s or are scores in 70s adequate?

Do most selectees earn A's on their Zoology and MICR, or are B's competitive? Essentially, I am wondering if I should fork out additional money to retake the zoology classes to raise the B's to A's or is that an unwise use of tight funds?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Yep, that is the one I was looking at. I can see on my registration page that I am seated for the N210/L,N211, and N212 in an override condition, I think I may have to wait until January 3rd. Are you in the same condition?

I just logged into MyUH and I noticed all my information has updated to the BSN program, which must have happened this morning. I still don't have the ability to register, just tried.

I tried registering as well but no success. I believe I'm in the same condition. I wonder how this will affect my financial aid tho.

Hey guys take it from a career student, all transfer students register last in jan, payment deadline of 13 dec only applies to returning students, I can't apply for my grant until I reg in jan. the override is a academic override to get into a full class, if u notice nursing has 0 seats avail that's how they control it.

Coug

Thanks Coug! Have you ordered any of the books? I checked on Amazon and you guys were right about the new books being way cheaper than the used books at the UH bookstore. I'll just order the Elsevier bundle from the bookstore. Any one know when they start accepting spring 2014 orders?

I just ordered my books on amazon. Planning to head over go to the bookstore tomorrow for my CPR manual. Has anyone else gotten it yet?

Hey I didn't know The booklist was put out, is it on an email?

Coug: check your uh email. There should be an email from Tina Gomes, one of the advisors. It contains book list and specifics about attire for clinical and lab. Before that email was sent I just checked the UH manoa bookstore page, which indicated the books needed for each class.

K9005: I'm hoping to buy it tomorrow as well...depends on traffic. If not, I'll just look for it on Amazon.

I am going to wait until after the morning rush hour traffic and hit the bookstore and finance office.

They are running low on polo shirts at the book store if you haven't purchased one yet.

Did you by chance see any men's small polos?

I did not.
