How well, and how often are Advance Practice Nurses utilized in Hawaii?
Nurse Practitioners or Clinical Nurse Specialist? Are they working in the hospitals your are at? Have you visited one for yourself at an Urgent Care Clinic or Family Practice office? If so, what is their scope in any of these settings? So many areas of the US use them differently so I was wondering about Hawaii.
I know that there are programs for NP and CNS at UH Manoa, but I haven't been able to find much info or job advertisements for NPs or CNSs there.
Also, curious about pay. Is it any better than the job rate at most hospitals?
