Whats the scoop on working for blood bank or Shriners

I applied for the blood bank and didnt receive any call back so I called them and they said they had sent off my application to the hiring managers and that was the last i heard from them, yet their website and classified ads say they need more nurses.

I heard Shriners and the Blood Bank prefer RN/LPN with experience. Hawaii job market sucks right now =(
