For toning I love doing pilates with Resistance bands, for extra toning and more difficulty. It is not a cardio workout, but more a stregth workout, and to be honest with you I bought it from Walmart for pretty cheap and it comes with 2 bands, a DVD with about 5 different 10 minute segments, but if you are looking for cardio based workouts, I am going to have to think about that. I do the same thing sometimes just make up workouts, turn the music on and keep moving and keep sweating, whether that means using weights or my own weight to the beat of the song or anything. If you do join sparkpeople.com, they have tons and tons of free workout videos and I know some are workouts you can do sitting on a chair, on your knees, and tons of articles and idea of workouts for people trying to take it easy on their feet or knees. That I think is your best bet, I love that website and people of all ages are using it to track what you, track your workouts, get support, and tons and tons of information.

I love walking also and you can lose a lot of weight walking, I have read many articles about it and have done it myself. Hope this helps at least a little bit, and goodluck!!! We are here for you!

Today's workout.....

60 minute walk 13/min mile

Biggest loser DVD..only 15 mins but very hardcore

20 minute pilates with resistance bands

Tomorrow is suppose to be my weigh in day, but I think I am going to switch it to Sunday because I think this will give me an extra edge to get through the weekends much easier and healthier knowing that my weigh in is on Sunday, and I won't want to mess that up. I hope everyone else is doing good on this journey and I can't wait to hear about it and about your successes!...Goodluck to all and I hope you are having a good week.

Let's do this!

I'm going to check out sparkpeople.com, but my computer won't support videos. I probably can just do a google for floor exercises, and maybe get some printouts or something too. I need to have something to give my feet a break. I like to listen to the news when I exercise. I had to do my bike extra today to pay for what I ate. Hate it when I "fall down" but just have to pick myself back up again!

Today is was very hot out, so I decided to go for an inside workout....

I did 30 minute stationary bike....with 60 second intense intervals every minute or so

Jillian Micheals 30 day shred...25 minutes...man does this really kick your butt and make you sweat, its like hours of workout in 25 minutes, and usually I don't like fitness DVD's but for an alternative once in a while it really is challenging.

Hope everyone else is doing good???

Hey everyone! Haven't posted for a few, as I've been out of town. Attended an upbeat wedding last weekend, with a really elegant reception, with wonderful, elegant food, and oh yeah (much to my chagrin)...GREAT CAKE! I got in 6 of 7 days last week. Finally got back on it today. I still haven't checked out sparkpeople, darn it, I keep forgetting. Tomorrow??? I saw my sister at the wedding. She is for sure, slowly but surely losing weight! Very encouraging. Keep at it everyone, and I will too.
