So far have eaten 914 calories, worked out for an hour earlier with another combination of sprinting/running/jogging/ and walking. I am really trying to lose 2.5 pounds this week so I can say I lost 10 pounds in a month. Wish me luck and if I do not meet this goal and fall short than I will still keep going and get in next week. I will not give up until I am at a healthy and happy weight for me!

You guys are the bomb Remember, don't focus too much on the scale. Just do your exercise, whatever it may be, and decrease your portions, shooting for whole foods as much as possible. The weight will follow. Have the occasional treat. After all...we are human. I'm 5 for 5 so far this week on the exercise. Go Team Go!

Okay so my official weigh in was kind of messed up this week, because this was the first week I had to up my calories because I wasn't getting enough prior to this week, so my body had to adjust, and this week I got a new and more accurate scale, that usually says I weight about 1-2 pounds more than the older one I was using, but all in all my weigh in was pretty good considering.

DRUM DRUM......149.5 POUNDS from previous-150.5

Starting weight was-- 158 pounds one month ago from today

only 1 pound, but I consider this week my adjustment week, and this is the first time I only lost one pounds and I can't compain, I was expecting worse, and I will not quit either way.

But you are right I am not focusing on numbers too much, because I have been doing this for a month and feel so much better about myself and my body already, and I am ready to do this for another month and forever. I know that everything will be worth it and eventually the numbers will follow all of my hard work and effort. I am so proud of all of you and hope you stick with it and stick with posting on this thread because I think this is a huge part of what keeps me going. And I thank all of you for that.

WE CAN DO THIS!!.......and WE CAN HELP!

Hey, down is down, right? Sounds like you're doing super! I made 7 of 7 days last week for exercise, and I'm off to a good start this week too. My sticker for today read "way to go!" Thanks be to our window air conditioner, oh it is so hot today! I don't have a scale, which is probably a good thing, ha-ha. My sister weighs once a week. I can pretty much tell from my clothes if I'm staying within range, or am a couple pounds above, and usually I'm right. Everybody have a good week, and post when you can.

Yes of course you can join this group, We would love to have, I try to post as often as I can with accomplishments, foods eaten, a good workout I did or just to see how everyone is doing....So of course you can!!

DAILY ACCOMPLISHMENT!!..............

I don't know if this counts, but I went out to dinner last night with my boyfriend,
just at CHILLI's
and before I went I made to sure look up the calories in foods off there menu, and good thing I did any of the salads I know I would have ordered had about 800-1,200 calories in them. SO I found a grilled item for 360 calories for the whole platter before I left and had my order ready when I sat down
I think having a game plan made it easy to stick my my calorie restrictions and made the night fun and not overdone. I split a soup worth 160 calories with my boyfriend who ate most of it, and I had known how many were in that too, I would strongly suggest doing this to everyone , it really helped!
After all of yesterday including dinner, movies and everything I only consumed about 1,050 calories
Kinda of low but I am proud!

I find eating out the hardest time of all...My hubby is a buffalo chicken , chocolate sundae with extra everything type and never gains an ounce!!! So planning ahead is crucial! And kudos to you for sticking to your plan!!!
I started tracking points , like I did for Weight Watchers on my own, its amazing how quickly the points add up, really makes me realize how much I am eating in a day.

Exactly when I first started this journey a month ago and I tracked my food on Sparkpeople, I was like did I really eat that many calories already, I had never known until now and makes me sick to think how many calories I ate before. I have officially lost 10 pounds and I am so excitied to keep losing weight until I reach my goal. I started at 158 and now I am at 148 and feel good about my progress. Goodluck with your weight loss and keep us all updated....

YOU CAN DO THIS!
