Hey everyone,

I can finally say that I am in the 120's...I weighed in today and am currently 128.4 pounds!!!!....I lost 1.6 pounds this week and have never been so excitied about a weigh in day in a long time and I am now even closer to my goal weight.

Today I went for a 42 minute run outside, it was really nice to see fall colors and everything. I also played field hockey for about 20 minutes when I was volunteer coaching my team they made it into the second playoff game and I am so happy for them. I am about to go get creative with some abs so I will report later how that goes.Goodluck everyone!, we can totally do this!

I hope everyone had a good day and has a good halloween!!!

Thumbs up Re: No JOB- Spare time=LOSE WEIGHT!
Ok, I started some crunches in addition to my usual exercise. I was only able to do 30 crunches, 3 sets of ten, with a short rest in between. Also, I had to tuck my toes under the couch, which I think is cheating a little? Well, when my back gets a bit stronger I can stop that maybe. I guess that's a start anyhow? I know how excited you are to see the 120's. Congrats!!! My sis was very excited to see 150 today. She's lost 16.5 so far. Her current goal is 135, which she will be very happy to see again. I still have to look up some ab exercises besides crunches, but at least I got started, barely

November already so wanted to start off this week/month in a good way. Got my exercise in plus 40 crunches and raked leaves. Beautiful day today. My walk is 2.2 miles, about all I can do on my foot Sorry k.morris...I'm a Yankee girl. Tonights game is tied as we speak, so we'll see what shakes out. Lets all have a great month!

3:2 in the series....Yankess are scared now!....haha its just fun teasing!

Sorry I have been away for the last couple days, still job searching like crazy and semi working, and working out as much as I can for my november 30 day challenge to myself.

Oh yeah I don't think I told you but I created a 30 day challenge for myself. I made a November calender for my wall next to my clothes where I get changed everyday. On this calender I will track all my exercise, calorie intake for whole day, and calories burned if cardio day. I already do all of that online, but this way I can see the whole months accomplishments in one place and see a blank day if I don't do anything, hopefully I will push myself for no blank days, so I don't embarass myself.

I wanted to do this to really kick myself into gear and finish what I started. I have come such a long way now to not make it to my goals and I am hoping November is my month. Back when I weighed 158, I told myself I wanted this part of my journey finished by the End of November beginning of December, and I really want to make that a reality.

You can join me if you would like...I think its just fun and different and will make this a competition against ourselves haha...

I have been doing good on the get creative with abs challenge. Today I did 35 minutes of abdominal workout. I did crunchless abs, which is a lot of lifting, lowering, twisting and holding, but not the actual uniformed crunch. Then I did do a lot of plank stuff, which I hate but am getting better at and normal crunches/bicycle crunches/lift and twist crunches.
I can definitely feel my core getting stronger and it is a good feeling to have. I hope that everyone's having a good week.

Excellent job with the 40 crunches, raked leaves (which is a workout) and the walk!!!!......Yankees ehhh...I'll forgive you for that it has been an exciting world series no matter what happens, so can't complain too much.

WE ARE DEFINTELY GOING TO HAVE A GREAT MONTH....

ps. I start training to be a substitute school nurse on Monday, at both elementrys schools and the high school, wish me luck!

Yeah, game six tomorrow!!! Hope your orientation for school sub is fun. I enjoyed some clinical time with a school nurse, and had fun too. I really liked the time I spent with the jail nurse even more. Yes, I like the calendar use. I know I don't like it if I don't have a sticker up for that day. Also, I write on the calendar what form of exercise I do. Now I am doing 50 crunches today for the first time and I'm going to keep at 50 for this week. Not too bad, but I do have to tuck my toes under the couch still. It was chilly today, but sunny, and enjoyed my walk. I still take the church steps two at a time when I pass it twice on my walk. Every little bit helps I think, but people probably think I'm a kook. So for your Nov challenge, are you trying to get to 125 or lower, and if so, what is your final goal?

Right now my goal is to still just get to 124, and then from there I will re think my goals and see if I am happy and just need to tone up or what. Right now I am just waking it 1 pound at a time and enjoying it!!!...I want to lose as much as I need to, to be happy by the end of november!

Today for my 3rd day of my 30 day challenge I ran/walked a really high speed on high incline and biked, Burned 520 calories, and it worked my abs with the incline, long strides, and arm swings they still are sore.

50 crunches is great!!!!....you will get stronger as you do more, and will eventually not even need the couch. Every little thing definitely helps and adds up during the day and the week. I am very proud of you for all that you do and for still posting on this thread it is really nice of you and I love hearing your progress and successes!!!!

HAHA....my boyfriend doesn't want me to work at a jail because I will get hit on or taken advantage of or something, but seems kinda fun but scary, but to each his own. I hope you are having a good week, WE CAN DO IT, WE HAVE ALREADY PROVEN THAT!!!

Soory about that last game in the series, although I was cheering against you I was rather hoping it would go to game seven to make it really exciting. Have 5/5 in this week so far. Yes, I can picture you on your workouts, like a little dynamo. I think you might reach that 124 this month for sure, the way you're going! I think everyone else has left us, but hope they'll join us again. I know on this weight loss journey I've come and gone some, before this time around when I finally decided to take off the last 20 or so pounds. Now just need to maintain, and get a little more fit. If I ever get any money, I WILL get that eliptical! Tomorrow's supposed to be another beautiful and sunny day for walking, so plan to take advantage. What does your boyfriend think of all this weigt you've lost? My husband has never been critical of my weight, no matter what I weighed, but for sure I've been critical of myself. Plus as a nurse I've always felt I should be a role model for my patients if I can. Well, enjoy the rest of this week and keep up the good work! You are super dooper!

yeah I was hoping the same thing, but it was still a good series to watch!...The yankees won can't say much more about it!...it was still fun to watch!

Congrats 5/5 is awesome!!....I am 3/5 as of now, but my calorie intake was adjusted according to if I did workouts or not. And yeah I don't mind just keeping up with me and you on this team, like you said they may be back and I hope they do, but I am glad we both stuck with it. You have come such a far way and I can't wait to be in maintence and tone mode as well along with you. Someday hopefully in November.

My boyfriend lives my new body, he never said anything negative about my old body he still loved me, but he definitely stares a little more now, I can tell!!! it makes me feel really good that he notices and appreciated it too, but it was for me and I am very excitied about it.

Today I weighed in and lost only .6 pounds( so now I weigh 127.8) , but its a move in the right direction so I can't be too mad, it is harder now to lose that I thought it would be, but it does get harder the less you have to lose. Next week I am aiming for a 1 pound loss, but we shall see what happens. I am really pushing through this November challenge, I just need to get a little more exercise in, it has been hard with the job search and my little sister had off from school this week so I watching her all day when I usually do my workouts, but Im not mad i still got in good exercise!!!!

Have fun on your walk in the sun!, and I hope you have a good weekend!

Thanks for sticking with me on this thread, WE CAN DO THIS!

Smile Re: No JOB- Spare time=LOSE WEIGHT!
Checking in for end of the week, and I am 7/7, and tomorrow starts our new week. I have been troubled with candy this past week. I am VERY strong about NOT bringing it into the house, but when my husband brings it in and it's on the counter...look out! I have made him promise to STOP doing this, and he has agreed. I always start out eating smart, then things sometimes go downhill as the day goes on. Does this sound familiar at all? Next week I am going to try eating fresh fruit more when I get a munchie, and see how that works for me. New week, new rules Let us know how you're orientation goes. Have a great week!

Unhappy Re: No JOB- Spare time=LOSE WEIGHT!
OK, I have to eat my words, because Sunday I started off the week not lifting a finger toward exercise (unless you count lifting the Sunday paper). So today I made up for it (sorta) by doing an extra 30 minutes. We had pizza for supper, but mine was thin crust veggie, yum. Hubby's was meat lovers of course Good news is no candy on the counter!
