I took my first hesi in may and failed it I was very anxious and don't remember much from the exam it's like a big blank couple of hours. After to talking to some of the students that took it with me the second time we decided that it was totally different than the 1st one we took two weeks ago. I have tried to look for info out there but there is nothing really out there in cyberspace.

My next showdown with the hesi is at the end of the month in case you are wondering and according to the director we will be taking version 4 because she said student's have told her that version 2 is harder.

oh gosh Im in the same boat, I have taken this HESI twice already failing both tiimes! I didn't even increase my score I scored the exact same! So disappointing, they won't release my diploma, if I don't pass this last time in Mid July, I will have to take my entire last yr. of nursing over! Who wants to do that? We are now doing a remediation which should of been given a long time ago, hoping that they won't have to see our faces over again. Im very scared and discouraged, not sure what will happen.

busy5kids, what school do you go to? I go to drexel and we need a 950 to pass and get our diploma. I'm taking my 2nd attempt today...and I hope I pass it. I am so frustrated that I worked so hard for four years and won't get my diploma if I don't get a 950 (or 87%) on this exit hesi...that is ridiculous!

Oh my, how did you do? We only had to make an 850 or higher, wow you had to make a whole 100 pts higher then us, scary. I understand your frustration...I will be taken my last shot at this on July 20th, I leaving it in God's hands, he knows me and my family situation and everything we have scarificed to get to this point. I feel I can a job at arms reach, but I can't grasp it yet. Where is drexel?

drexel is in philadelphia and i'm happy to report I got a 92% so I passed. Good luck, you know your stuff, just practice doing the questions and how to read what hesi wants fromyou. i'm sorry to hear about your family situation I know how much home life can truly impact your ability to stay focused.

I agree, 950 is a VERY HIGH score to have to achieve!!! I think that score is unrealistic given the fact the years ago nurses didn't even have exit exams. Our class originally needed 850 but was eventually lowered to 825. Thank goodness or I fear more than half of us would still be trying to pass at 950. Good luck to you.

I take my HESI 3 on tuesday...im soo worried and stressing out....keep me in your prayers...study tips: if you have access to evolve case studies....read all the rationales they help big....

congratulations on passing with 92%! What wonderful news, whooosh, that's over right? Now for nclex. I sitll have 3 weeks to go before I take my 3 shot at HESI. I have been preparing, I just hope im prepared.
