Well, they still won't be able to actually schedule to take a test until they have paid that 200 dollars.

You should also see if your state licensing board has a registration status page--Mine in WI does--that way you can check to see if the only thing they're waiting for is your NCLEX results. If they don't have anything like that, then I would just try to ensure that you've sent in all required forms--check with your school of nursing, as they should be helping you through this process. Each state is different, so I can't really help you there.
Quick results: When you've taken the NCLEX, you can login to your account on Pearson's website, look under recent activity. When 48 hours have passed from when you've taken the exam, you can click on that test. It will then take you to a credit card payment screen. You pay $7.95, and you can get your result of pass or fail. Bear in mind, that not all states participate in quick results--CA being one of the biggies.
