Wanted: Va nurse mentor

I am currently seeking a nurse who is working for the VA Hospital that is willing to mentor me. I have always thought look to those for guidance from who have accomplished the goals that you are striving for, and working with Veterans is my dream.
A little about me: I am a 24 year old male currently at the ending phase of my pre-requisites pursuing my BSN at West Coast University. I am very motivated at becoming the best Nurse I could be, I also pride myself in any task I take on. I am a Veteran who served 5 years in the Marine Corps. as an infantry Sergeant. My medical experience extends to being a combat life saver (saline I.V., burns, various GSW treatments) which limits my hospital experience to about zero. As of now my interest's are in the operating or emergency room but I'm sure that will change once I get some hands on.
I hope to build a professional relationship with you and learn from your successes as well as your faults. This is all to maximize my time and priorities to become a better candidate and eventually VA Nurse.
