Does vetpro ONLY verify dates of employment?! Talked with all my old bosses and they seem to be okay. But one of the hr girls gave me the dates I was employed but when I asked if it stated resigned ( cause I did resign) she said "I don't have that available right now" really snippy! I don't want some hr person being malicious and keeping me from getting my dream job! So again do they only verify dates?!

No, it is not only dates of employment; you are asked on your application if you have ever been terminated from a position and that is verified with the employers you list. Honestly, I think you're putting more angst into this than needs to be: put down the accurate, complete, TRUTHFUL data, and let the credentialling specialist do his/her thing. They are used to working with less-than-pleasant HR people, it's the nature of the beast. You won't be eliminated from your "dream job" by an HR person who is being snippy. You may very well be eliminated if you aren't truthful in your submissions, as we've already discussed.

Give them what they need, and let VA people do what they do. :)

Okay lol thx. U r right! I have been totally honest. Can't get more honest than what I've been lol.

Easiest way for me to work through it and make sure all of my dates were correct was to keep my resume with me and refer to it when I was going through the form. It didn't take long to do, it just made me have to look at the resume a lot. I also have a Bachelor's in another field, so I put that in also. The credentialing person called me and told me I could take that out and resubmit; they only needed the information on my BSN.

It takes about 6 weeks to be Vet Pro'd, but once it's done, it's a big sigh of relief.

Specializes in Critical Care, Emergency, Education, Informatics.

and then you have to make sure your liscense is always current. You can't wait til lthe last minute for vetpro to verify or you might find your employment terminated. Renew it as soon as it's possible to renew it.

Went in and did vetpro. The vetpro lady did not want me to input all the jobs just the two main ones lol she said long as there wasn't a thirty day gap. But I gave the hr recruiter the updated resume and she is aware the the vetpro person only had me put in two of the positions. However they said indicated everything in equip. Which confuses me cause I thought they had to match smh o we'll I was honest and followed their direction. Physical was done! Fingerprints done! But have to go back for EKG tomorrow. Also had blood work done!

Okay equip drained me lol! Now that was irritating

Regarding VetPro and eQuip: It's typical of VA to have several data bases for 90% of the same data. No cross-referencing. No multiple usages.

And just think, if you do get the job, you have a MOUNTAIN of paperwork ahead of you, LOL....I mean TONS.
