If you have past military service it will depend on if they give your credit for the time served. If they give you credit for time served you will earn vacation time passed on the date they give you. When I went to the VA they gave me 3 years as a military nurse towards my seniority. Which did not effect my vacation time since I was title 38 and not a GS 4/5/6. I am not sure when vacation time increase but lets say you have 4 years in the military and the VA gives 1 weeks of vacation for 1-3 years of seniority and 2 weeks for 4-10 years of seniority. If the VA does not give you any credit you would have 1 week of vacation and if they gave you the 4 years of seniority for your military service you would get 2 weeks of vacation. - Jan 14 by navyvet13Quote from jeckrnThanks I have 9years active time but I worked in Intel so i dont know how that will workout i have physical and fingerprint tomorrow...
