RN Openings with the VAMC

I work at a VA in VISN 6 and am wondering what other VAMC's are like in relationship to RN staffing. Do you have a number of openings or are RN's beating down the doors to work for the VA in your area? We have a number of openings, but there does not seem to be a shortage of nurses and we fill our open positions pretty quickly (provided administration opens the positions to be filled timely).

Another question is whether your hospital hires many new grads. We seem to hire a lot of new grads and in fact, some of them are actually starting out in ICU.
