Orientation in a VA hospital

Does anyone work in a VA hospital? specifically jesse brown in chi? I just want to know how long is the orientation and when does it start. It seems like it has been forever on when they will call me to start. As of right now I have no idea when I will start and how long orientation is. My issue is that I was planning a vacation in august but now I am starting to think that is not going to happen since I have no word when orientation is going to start. I am hearing it is suppose to start july and if that is the case, there is no way I can take a vacation during orientation then??? i don't want to blow my chances here but i do need that vaca. please help and share some advice.
