Okinawa Naval Hospital

Anyone have any info on this hospital? I'm supposed to go there for NP preceptorship.

I was a patient there once...in 1989. Had a nice little spiral fracture of my left tib/fib. Camp Lester...fond memories, really. Played soccer there every Saturday...did some skate boarding...the scuba diving is second to none (made Hawaii look like crap, really).
I don't know how long you'll be there, but try to get out and enjoy some of the local night life and some places that are off the beaten path...it's an incredible country.

You will love Okinawa. I only spent three weeks there in 2000 on a training mission, but that place was AWESOME! Rghbsn is right about the scuba diving. If you don't scuba, you should start when you get there. The hospital there is small by stateside comparison, but you will still have plenty of opportunities to learn. Be sure to head into downtown Naha City and enjoy the food there. Good luck!
