    I discovered today that I was not selected, mainly because my package for some reason never made it to the Nov 28th board. I called another NRD office to get details and they were kind enough to investigate and look for my name; my recruiter is almost impossible to get a hold of. This is frustrating for me because I completed everything in a timely manner in order to shoot for being early enough to make it onto the October board. I started my process back in March/April. I was told twice that I was going to make it to board Oct and Nov and apparently it wasn't so. I know there is a lot of ambiguity to the process and I'm sure there are political motions involved but I can't help but feel defeated about the whole process. The recruiter that took the time to speak with me told me that there might be a December board for straggling applications to be considered if there were any billets left to fill, but bluntly told me to not hold my breath.

    Good luck to everyone else who is being considered, FY2013 was a competitive year. Contact your recruiters to see if you've been accepted as the Nov 28th selection process has been completed and names have been revealed.

    I've had the same issue communicating with my recruiter. My kit didn't get reviewed by the board also. I'm hoping to change credentials to ICU since I've been working there for few months now.

    Has anyone else officially heard the word? I keep getting the response from my recruiter that "The board has not yet released the names of the selected members for the board of Nov 28th." Although I called another office a few days after the 28th and they told me the selection process was complete. I am not sure if my recruiter is just saving face because he doesn't want to let me down (understandably so, as I've been on him for months and months about my package and did my best to try and get it).

    Just want to hear from others who applied, mostly so I can just forget about it and move on.

    My recruiter told me a week ago maybe 2 the board was done meeting. Also they would be sending letters out for the kits not reviewed. Basically saying they made their selections and they stopped reviewing sorry your kit wasn't reviewed (something like that).

    My recruiter told me early last week the Board made their selections, and everyone who was selected or placed on the wait list has been notified. There are so many steps in the selection process (my package went through at least 4 processors and G-d knows what else before being presented before the November board), and unavoidable hiccups do occur unfortunately. From what I have heard, they are not reviewing any more packages for FY13 but there is always FY14!
