Does that mean it's too late to apply if you are graduating 2016?

Yes, unfortunately all the 2015 and 2016 NCPs are done and once October-December (2014) time frame comes they will be filled up for 2017 grads as well, Program is very popular and goes FAST!

Really? My recruiter told me that weren't looking at 2016 till August and I'm currently waiting on my interviews to complete my package. Are they really already full..?

Are you talking about NCP? reserves or active duty after school?

I was under the impression that you couldn't begin the application process until you were at least two years away from you're graduation date.

Rayjordan, that explains the reason why your recruiter said that to you. Your application should be submitted here shortly and looked at sometime in October, word of caution, ACTIVE DUTY nurse is very hard to get into and it is very competitive. I suggest, if you dont get picked up, continue your education, get a masters degree and concentrate on midwife or anesthesia. that's almost a guaranteed in!

to RAIDER 3/1: You are correct, for NCP students, lets not get confused, you can start your application 2 to 2.5 years before graduating, because technically if accepted you would be in the Navy while attending school. But for ACTIVE or RESERVE, you can start the application at any time..BUT... it can't be submitted until october first, once it is submitted selection process happens, it you get picked up your good to go and if not, resubmit next october first! HOPE IT HELPS

What are some good points to work on to make sure you are competitive for this? What is the average GPA of selected applicants?

So as long as you have started that process within the 2years, you're okay for NCP? I graduate December 2015. Started my package for NCP last December. It was all put together by February and am currently going through the interview phase. I have one interview today and hopefully another via phone next week. My recruiter tells me they will be looking at applications come October? Am I still in good timing? Thanks in advanced (and thanks for your service Chief).
