My process in joining the Airforce

02/22/09 - Start a chat session on Airforce website, never get a response from the question I submitted. Submitted an "Information Request" via email.

02/23/09 - Receive an email with the local Airforce recruiter telephone number. Called the number left a message.

02/24/09 - No response from the voicemal left yet. Called Healthcare Recruited over 400 miles away, no answer... left a message.

02/25/09 - No calls from either recruiter yet. Started another chat session, actually getting a response this time on chat,. but about 5 minutes between each reply.

Am I missing something, is there only 3 days between your first "process" and your last?
What is your question?

I'm just posting as I go through the process. I've heard it takes about a year to get in.

If I were you I would contact your local Air Force recruiter, and ask them for the nurse recruiter that handles your geographic area, because I had the same problem as you in the beginning, but after I talked to my local Air Force recruiter he put me in touch with the correct recruiter. It is a long process, but don't get discouraged, I have all my paperwork in, my physical and my chief nursing interview are done, I'm just waiting for the nursing board to meet, and then we'll see if I get selected.

Sorry, thought you were trying to say that no one was answering you.

The only part of the military I miss: the camaraderie.
