by NurseKrieger Jan 6Hey all. Just curious- what can a junior army CPT do in the nurse corps? I know you can specialize but I think I want to stay a hotel. Is it true we can become clinic OICs at small bases? I can’t really get an informed answer from some buddies and it’s too soon for me to ask HRC or my CNOIC about it. Just curious what all we can do.
Thanks!

I know others that are head nurses for clinics and TMCs. I'm at a MEDDAC. Also Brigade Nurse -- I know a few CPTs that are Brigade Nurses. When the time comes, you might want to check into the head nurse course at Ft. Sam (I think it's called the CNOIC/NCOIC course).
