Germany Army Nurse

I'm an Army Nurse currently station in Texas. I am interested in going to Germany next year somewhere in a meddac/clinical area and not a CSH. Anyone has suggestions on where is the best place for a someone like me who has a family going with? Thanks.

Well, I'm not Army, but I'm an Army civilian and I'm at Landstuhl - I'm sure there are plenty of openings here. We have some nurses with the 212th CSH attached here but the majority of AN's are not. There are also clinics nearby, I don't know what your specialty or preferences are. But the KMC area is HUGE and there are a lot of options.

I spent a year at Lanstuhl Regional Medical Center ICU. It is a decent sized hospital with plenty of business from Iraq and Afghanistan. If you are looking at continuing to enhance your clinical experiences,I would recommend seeking an assignment there as opposed to any of the smaller clinics around the country.
