ER Direction for a New BSN

I will complete my BSN in a few months and have a strong desire to work in the ER. Can someone provide me some direction in regards to ER nursing within the military or civlilian sectors? As a prior service, I am fully aware of military commitments, time away, etc. However, is this speciality difficult to obtain within the Army or Navy? Thank you.
