Army nursing?

Does anybody know anything about it?
Is it just as hard to get a job if you're working as a nurse through the Army?
Bad idea?
Just any insight or advice would be nice.

Most of the civilian nursing jobs I've seen advertised require at least a year of experience, but those could just be the ones I'm looking at. You might try asking over in the Government and Military forum: http://allnurses.com/government-military-nursing/

If you are in the Army you are working. After you finish your required time in the Army, or anyother service, you will have at least 3 years experience as a nurse. Getting hired at that time will depend on the job market at that time. Is it a bad idea, that is up to each individual on what they want to do. I enjoy being a Army Nurse, but military nursing is not for everyone. If you are going to look at military nursing look at a 3 services, Army, Navy, & Air Force. You can also look at the US Public Health Service.
