Anyone work in the Puget Sound area VA hospitals?

Hi. I am currently an RN at the Milwaukee VA and am considering a move to the Seattle area. Anyone working at the Puget Sound VA: Could you please let me know what the hospital is like? How big is the campus? Do they use the bar code medication administration? Any other area VA clinics or hospitals you might recommend in the Seattle area? I have 1 year of Med-Surg experience. Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not an RN yet but I am in an RN program doing my clinical rotation at the Seattle VA. They do use the bar code computer medication administration. The Seattle campus is a beta facility, which means they get the first chance to try all the new technology before it goes out to the other VA facilities. HTH

I work at the Seattle VA in the Surgical ICU and it's an excellent unit. I have learned so much and love ICU.

All VA's use BCMA and CPRS.
