Do the contracts specify what course? From what I read, you're guaranteed a course, but not a specific one. Also, I was told that the Army has up until you have one year left to get you to your course.

Am I the only one that hasnt heard about the results from their recruiter? I last spoke to recruiter on Thursday and they hadnt heard anything about me at that point...

I made it, 66H (Active duty), OML . I received the news on Dec 2nd. I was having login issues so I was unable to post. Back in business now. Congrats to everyone who made it and keep your head up to all those who did not. I have experienced many disappointing times in my life and was able to bounce back and try again. Anything that is worst fighting for give it another chance and you will succeed. It's a pleasure to know through cyberspace that I will be working with some awesome people.

Congratulations to all of you that got your acceptance notices! I know first hand that it has been a long stressful wait to find out out.

As some of you know, I was notified that I was too old for the Nurse Candidate Program, after my packet was sent to the board, but I will be applying again next year for direct commission. Hope to see some of you around then.

    Cheers!

No it says you put a preference in, you do it within 6-12 months while active duty, that you need 1 year of nursing exp prior to attending, that needs of army trump your timing preference...

I would not worry about it to much at this time, as all you can do is work with the system - you can't control it... you also can't work with it until you are in. That is a big part of being successful in the military - being flexible.
