    In my unit the admin staff are not medical. They have a title of MSC (medical service corps). You wouldn't be prohibited as a nurse but it is not a medical job. Our nursing supervisor is a Senior Master Sgt. (also not a nurse). I don't know if this is the case on active duty or not.
