Air Force Reserve

I know getting into active duty has become very competitive. My question, however, pertains to the reserves. I see that some units have many open positions and this just seems to be too good to be true. Is it possible that some units, such as Travis, has multiple available slots there for the taking? Also, I have another quick question. Does the reserves accept only FQ applicants or are they also open to new grads. Keeping in mind this is likely to vary from unit to unit, has anyone come across units that accept those with no experience? Thanks in advance !!

New grads for anyone of the services right now is difficult. If the Army is calling for 2+ years of experience minimum I am sure the AF is doing the same.

Sounds like you are speaking of active duty. Am I correct?

For active duty yes but reserves is just as stringent at least for the Army.

Sorry about that. I wasn't very clear in my first message. I even forgot to mention which branch I was referring to (aside from the title). I meant for this to be geared toward Air Force Reserves. :)
