After six months of slogging through paperwork, my husband and I get to take our AF physicals tomorrow morning! To say I'm a little nervous is an understatement... Regardless of the results, I think I'll be most relieved just to know.

Our recruiter has told us that even if everything goes well we probably won't be able to head off to OTS until next January, since they've filled almost all of their nursing positions. Anyone else in the same boat?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but when I walked out of my physical, I still didn't get my stamp of approval that day. I was really let down. They hadn't asked for my last mammogram or my last pap result before, and I didn't have my record with me since I assumed they had all they needed. We faxed that in and it took 2 more weeks before I got my green light for next step (always a next step!).

It was a cool day. I chatted with so many other young hopefuls and they had some great stories. I really liked being there. I would suggest wearing a sports bra and full grandma panties for the day. I'm sure you are aware you will be standing infront of some doc in your undies and get to do range of motion exercises.

Good luck.
