Af Rotc...nursing

Hi All--I noticed everyone gives great postings of info on here and i've got some questions...

I'm meeting somebody on thursday to talk about rotc options while i'm finishing school, I wont be applying for nursing to get in for fall '05...but anyway..

Did any of you do rotc in school? Did it take up a lot of your time? What happens after you graduate?

And on another note...while you're in the Air force or trying to get in...

How is Basic training for AF? Will they let you in if you have metal replacement pins/wires/plates in your body? Do they let people that are a little out of shape in...I'm about 5'8...180 lbs...I definitely need to get into shape but i'm not extremely overweight for my body type...at least i dont think...

Any of you nurses meet your future spouses in the military? and how did that work out for you?
