Board #: 13NC01
Cutoff to AFRS: 27 Sept 2012
Suspense cutoff: 19 Oct 2012
Board start date: 6 Nov 2012
Estimated release date: 19 Nov 2012
I'm sure these dates are tentative, but it's a good estimate. So if you plan on putting in an application, it looks like now is a good time to find a health recruiter! Good luck if you plan on applying this year!
- Oct 2, '12 by PrinceRNAFThe dates you listed are actually correct, I just put in my application for the fully qualified board. I had applied for the 2012 july NTP board, and I was on the alternate list for Med-surg.

Did your recruiter tell you how many might be selected for this board? The dates you listed are actually correct, I just put in my application for the fully qualified board. I applied for the med/surg selection boards for this november too. good luck to you. my recruiter told me that there are about 80 slots. but who knows, different recruiters seem to say different things, you know what I mean. one thing new I learned about applying the second time around is that there were different slots for the cot date that I could select. I just thought you had to go to what ever one they told you too but my recruiter said that you can request a certain time of the year based off of what cot dates are on there paper and pick one. now, your not guaranteed to get that slot but you can still request it. have you heard of that before? he said they do that so people can get things in order before leaving which i guess makes sense. - Oct 17, '12 by SThomas30Quote from kdazzleKdazzle, I do know that 6 COT classes are conducted per year. I will going in January, when did you pick as a date to go?hey princeRNAF,

I actually picked the may COT date, that way if I get picked then I wont have to move our oldest daughter out of school in the middle of the year but my luck never runs that good. LOL. I had some money saved and if I get picked then I was gonna use that to buy uniforms but recently my husbands truck broke down and we had to fork out alot of that money for that so If I get picked and they have me go to the January COT date, then I'm not sure what I am gonna do with trying to re-coup that money in a short amount of time, but I will figure it out somehow I guess. LOL. when it rains it pours!!!!! thats cool that your already in the service. that should make COT seem like a breeze for you huh? talk to you soon. - Oct 30, '12 by kdazzleSThomas30,
ok, I got a call from my recruiter yesterday and he told me that there were sooooo many applications turned into this november's board that a whole lot got turned away and sent back to the recruiters office to be turned into the next board which is kinda rare according to him and mine ended up being one of them unfortunately. have you ever heard of this? another sucky thing is that now I have to do my CN interiew again because that expires in december.
