Top 5 medicine to pass in LTC?


For me?

Insulin
Ativan
MOM
Dulcolax supp
Vicodin

These are the top 5 that I have to have on a daily basis at work. These meds pretty much tells you what kind of residents I have he-he.

Add Robitussin these coming few months ahead

the inpatient cocktail

Metoprolol
percocet
Ducolax
Prozac
combivent

1. stool softner
2. xanax
3.stomach medication
4.resperdal
5.tylenol

I am amazed at the patients that are on >3 meds of the same kind such as 3 stool softners or 3 stomach meds.

1. colace
2. depakote
3. risperdal
4. clonidine (used for behavior managment)
5. promod powder (given for low albumin due to the above 3 meds)

Ya'll see what kind of place that I work.
