TB testing Question

by 0128AAE

I work in LTC and all staff need to be tested yearly for TB. I have been told by other nurses that it is okay if you do not get a bleb. I always thought that if no bleb was obtained that you would have to redo the injection. What is the right answer?

In all my years of administering TB test if I don't get my bubble or bleb as you call it it is fine- no need to administer it again.

I saw that question on kaplan, but I can't remember the answer choices. I know your right poodmdsnurse. because I too taught something was wrong the my answer was incorrect, and again I forget what the next step was.
