    I'm moving to the Springfield and would like to work as an interum DON in the area. Anyone have and info on this? I've heard there are agencies that have nurses working as an interum until a full time DON is hired. I'm experienced ling term care nurse working as a DON. thanks.

    I'm a RN here in Springfield. There are really two major hospitals here, Mercy and Cox Health. Other than that, you are looking at a lot of LTACs and skilled nursing facilities, some better than others. You will just have to do a search of the area and contact those facilities directly. There doesn't seem to be any good temp nursing agency in the area that has a lot of opportunity. Not much help but I don't really know what you were expecting.
