Palliative questions..

by linzz

I have only seen a couple deaths so far so I am wondering what the earliest signs are. I am aware of what it is like when it is well established but I still don't feel like it is easy to tell when a patient is starting to decline. Thanks for any responses.

Try the following websites

www.nhpco.org

www.erperc.mcw.edu

www.hospicepatients.org

Very good information and you can even print out most of the info there.

Oh forgot, at the hospicepatients site, mid way down there is a link that says Main Topics, click on it and you will get a long list of info on standards of care, end stage signs and symptoms.

I hope this helps!
