Med competency tests

by pkeyrn

Does anyone out know where I can find a medication competency test geared toward long-term care? I am in the process of updating my nursing home's orientation competency test and everything I have found is either extremely outdated or geared toward hospital care. I would appreciate some help if it is out there. Thanks.

Default Re: Med competency tests
In my old job as Staff Development I came across the test they had been giving out....ancient...half the meds were no longer given. Remember Halcion? Write your own test. I asked the pharmacy and got no where so I wrote my own test.
Or, maybe your pharmacy consultant would be the person to ask.
