Mds

by jaymac

Hi, I am looking for information on MDS training. I have been a Florida RN for 16 years on a med/surg. floor. I have completed a coding and advanced coding course in a medical records program. I would like to work in a nursing home on a MDS team. How would I get started in that area? The ads I have seen all ask for experience MDS people. What courses should I be taking so I can at least be considered for a position? Please if anyone has this type of information I will be very grateful if you would e-mail me at nurse30300@sbcglobal.net Any information or suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank you, Janice
