LTC Nursing Rehabailitation



I am looking for resources in rehabilitation nursing, that apply to Geriatrics.
I work in LTC, and run the Nursing Rehab. dept.

I need a group or local consortium of people who work in this arena, to share ideas and bounce questions off of.
Are there any Nurses out there who are in LTC on Long Island NY, who are interested in trying to figure this out with me?

I have read the specs.

I have been to the seminars.

I am looking for anyone on LI who is plodding along, like I am, trying to figure out a position based on a small section of a federal documnet!! AUGH!!!
I would like to make this sucessful and get some ideas, just by sharing stories about our sucesses and failures! Thats it!! Maybe even go to lunch!

I need someone to bounce ideas off of who knows what the heck I am talking about!

Anyone on Long Island?

Oh yeah, I joined the ARN, and cant find any way to contact what they call a "Long Island Chapter" But I have some North Eastern NY and South Eastern NY numbers to call.

Sitcom Nurse.
Sometimes God turns on the Sitcom Nurse channel. Its like comedy central to Her.
