Lovin' old folks

I went into nursing as a mid-life change. During my first year I was terminated three times, all stupid mistakes but still learning from them. At the beginning of my second year in the field of nursing I found my dream job at an Assisted living facility. I wanted to stay with that company for years to come. I've just passed my one year anniversary, and was fired! Long story, but my actions would have normally gotten me only a reprimand. Unfortunaly a family member was threatening to sue the company over something unrelated to my actions, in fact it wasn't even about the same resident. Everyone was interviewed & investigated and I was fired. Angry? oh yeah....but time to move on. My question is how do I handle answering the questions about reason for termination or reason for leaving when I have too many terminations? I can't lie, so how can I word things to sound better than what they are? Should I forget LTC and settle for a DR.'s office or something like that? I've go two in college and can't settle for $15/hr. Can anyone help this basket case?
